The hunt begins anew as Aspyr, in collaboration with Lucasfilm Games, officially releases the remastered version of “Star Wars: Bounty Hunter” today. Originally released in 2002 for PlayStation 2 and GameCube, this beloved classic now makes its way to Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Windows PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S, allowing a new generation of players to experience Jango Fett’s thrilling adventure with modern enhancements.
BECOME THE GALAXY’S DEADLIEST BOUNTY HUNTER
“Star Wars: Bounty Hunter” puts players in control of Jango Fett, Prime Clone of the Grand Army of the Republic, as he embarks on a dangerous mission to capture a deranged Dark Jedi. Set before the events of “Star Wars: Episode II – Attack of the Clones,” the game reveals the untold story of how Jango became the template for the Clone Army and provides crucial backstory that enriches the viewing experience of the film.

PlayStation 5 players will enjoy exclusive DualSense controller features including adaptive triggers that provide unique feedback for each weapon, radio communications routed through the controller speaker, and health status displayed via the controller’s lightbar.
THE LEGENDARY BOUNTY HUNTER FANTASY
As Jango Fett, players will fight their way through the galaxy’s underbelly equipped with:
- Dual blaster pistols for precision shooting
- Jetpack for vertical movement and traversal
- Flamethrower for crowd control
- Whipcord for capturing bounties alive
- Poison darts for stealthy eliminations
- Missiles for heavy firepower
The game’s bounty hunting system allows players to track secondary targets throughout each level, adding replay value and encouraging exploration of the richly detailed environments spanning six diverse worlds.
BONUS CONTENT AND EASTER EGGS
The remaster includes an exciting addition for longtime fans: upon reaching 100% completion, players can start a new playthrough as Boba Fett. This feature implements an easter egg that was hinted at but never realized in the original 2002 release.

“Star Wars: Bounty Hunter” remastered is available now on digital storefronts for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Windows PC (via Steam), Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S at a suggested retail price of $19.99. Players who pre-ordered received a 10% discount, bringing the price down to $17.99.
