      Hey Warfighters,

As we continue rebuilding Global Warfighter League and bringing more of the community activity back onto the site, we’re opening up the GWL Bug Bounty Program.

This is pretty simple at its core: if you find something broken, weird, confusing, exploitable, or not working the way it should, you can report it through the Bug Bounty area. If the report is verified and it has not already been submitted by someone else, you’ll receive a GWL Token as a reward.

Those tokens are stored in your ‘GWL Wallet‘, which you can access from your profile. Tokens can then be used through the GWL Game Vault, where we’ll be handling game key rewards directly on the GWL platform instead of relying on outside giveaway systems like we used to do through Discord.

This is part of the larger goal of making GWL feel like its own home again.

The site is still in active rebuild mode. There are old systems being restored, new systems being added, esports features being tested, profile tools being expanded, and plenty of moving parts behind the scenes. That means bugs are going to happen. Some will be obvious. Some will be tiny. Some will only show up when real users start clicking around, creating competitions, editing profiles, submitting forms, joining teams, or testing features in ways we did not expect.

That is where the community can genuinely help.

You do not need to be staff. You do not need to be a developer. You do not need to write a technical report. If you notice something off, report what happened, where it happened, and what you were doing when you saw it. Screenshots are helpful when possible, but the main thing is simply helping us find issues before they become bigger problems.

To participate in the reward side of the bounty system, you will need to be a registered GWL member (a Warfighter). Rewards are tied to user accounts, so tokens need somewhere to go. If you are not interested in rewards and just want to let us know something is broken, you can still use the normal contact page.

There is one important note: anyone using the Bug Bounty system needs to follow the site’s security policy, including the ‘GWL Vulnerability Disclosure Policy‘ listed on the bounty page and acknowledge it (check box). In plain English, that means report issues responsibly, do not abuse anything you find, do not access anything that is not yours, and do not turn testing into damage. We want people helping improve the site, not breaking it for everyone else.

      The Red Team

For members who want to get more involved, we also have The Red Team.

The Red Team is a GWL team focused on testing, bug tracking, and feature feedback. Members of that team may help with more structured testing, early feature checks, and specific areas of the site that need extra attention. Some Red Team members may also become eligible for additional rewards depending on involvement and usefulness of the testing.

Joining The Red Team is optional. Any Warfighter can still submit bug reports through the standard Bug Bounty system without joining the team. But if you enjoy poking around, testing features, finding rough edges, and helping shape the rebuild, you can request to join The Red Team from the team page.

The goal here is not to turn the community into unpaid staff. The goal is to make the GWL rebuild more interactive, give people a reason to explore the site, reward useful feedback, and let Warfighters help strengthen the platform while we bring GWL back online piece by piece. A league by gamers and for gamers.

So if you see something broken, report it. If you find something strange, report it. If a page does not load right, a button does nothing, a profile tab acts weird, a competition tool throws an error, or something just feels off, send it in.

Every useful report helps tighten up the site and move GWL closer to the kind of esports hub we are trying to rebuild.

Thanks to everyone helping test, report, and improve things as we go.
